Video Archives & Projections

A series of video experimentations.

Wireframe Seat: A self-supporting structure built from 6mm steel wire, hand-bent and spot-welded into a grid strong enough to carry weight without extra reinforcement

Wireframe Seat

VIEW →
Through-Fixed: A solid wood plank stands as the vertical backrest, crossed by a bent steel tube frame that shapes the arms and continues down into the front legs

Through-Fixed

VIEW →
Steel-Bound Bench: A structure built from welded rebar, chosen for its irregular cross-section and rough surface texture rather than for precision

Steel-Bound Bench

VIEW →
Anticipated Wear: A brass hexagon cut, then engraved and punched with a cluster of small marks concentrated to one side of the surface rather than spread evenly, designed to visually anticipate use rather than leave it to accident

Anticipated Wear

VIEW →
Finger Armor: Brass and pewter plates cut, formed, and individually polished to follow the joints of the finger precisely, drawing more on medieval armor plating than on conventional jewellery

Finger Armor

VIEW →
Baroque Fragment: Pewter cast from an existing baroque ornamental motif - acanthus leaves, scrollwork, a profile recalling a mirror frame - faithfully reproduced up to a point, then cut off abruptly rather than completed into a whole piece

Baroque Fragment

VIEW →
Osiris: A ring built from flat, angular facets rather than a continuous curve, filed and sanded by hand to its final shape without ever fully erasing the original saw marks

Osiris

VIEW →
Delta: The same ring geometry carried across three materials and three techniques: sand-cast bronze, with file marks left visible on purpose after finishing; brass shaped into a hex-nut form; and blown clear glass, with a branching structure punctuated by small deep-blue inclusions

Delta

VIEW →
Stylus: A soft alloy cast into the standard six-sided shape of a hexagonal pencil, then sharpened with a blade like a wooden one, gradually exposing a working metal point

Stylus

VIEW →
Forged Cutlery: Utensils hand-forged from raw steel bar stock - a spoon, a knife, a second serrated blade - each fitted with a copper handle cold-wrapped around the shaft

Forged Cutlery

VIEW →
Fixed Prism: A solid glass block, entirely hand-faceted, with cutting angles calculated to maximize internal light reflection rather than to achieve perfect symmetry

Fixed Prism

VIEW →
Ramifications: A clear glass ring, built at the torch around an irregular branching structure rather than a solid band, with small deep-blue inclusions added and caught in the material while it was still hot

Ramifications

VIEW →
Bubble within a Bubble: A piece blown in two distinct stages: a first bubble is formed, then wrapped in a second layer of glass blown over it, trapping air between the two walls

Bubble within a Bubble

VIEW →
Bubble Cups: A personal blowing technique, developed after several attempts, to build a thick, rounded rim on small drinking cups without thickening the rest of the wall

Bubble Cups

VIEW →
Inhale, Exhale: Two amber glass spheres blown separately, to different wall tensions, producing two volumes that are close but never identical

Inhale, Exhale

VIEW →
Glasses -/+: Colour fragments - amber, turquoise, green - set by hand into the wall of the glass before the final blow, each one stretching differently depending on its position and the pressure applied

Glasses -/+

VIEW →
Baroque Shards: Red-tinted glass, cast in a mold reproducing a baroque ornamental motif - arabesques and interlacing - then deliberately fragmented once cooled

Baroque Shards

VIEW →
Recomposed Fractures: Thin blown glass bubbles, deliberately broken into amber, green, and blue shards, then recomposed and re-fused using the pâte de verre technique into a flat, circular plate

Recomposed Fractures

VIEW →
Modular Shoes: Two seamless construction methods developed in parallel, working toward the same formal goal

Modular Shoes

VIEW →
Cluster: Vegetable-tanned leather chosen for how well it holds an engraving, cut and laser-engraved with a repeating pattern of hexagons and pentagons arranged in an irregular cluster

Cluster

VIEW →
Tetrahedron: Wax cast in a faceted tetrahedral mold rather than a conventional rounded shape, each face of the mold leaving a sharp edge on the finished piece

Tetrahedron

VIEW →
Terracotta Teapot: A hand-built body, ribbed and flared, glazed in a mottled grey that pools slightly along the vertical grooves

Terracotta Teapot

VIEW →
Fist Impression: Black stoneware pressed directly onto a closed fist, keeping the hollows and ridges left by the knuckles and folded fingers rather than smoothing them out afterward

Fist Impression

VIEW →
Moiré: A minimal vector graphic, drawn and then hand screenprinted in water-based ink on organic cotton

Moiré

VIEW →
Remeshed Bodies: Close friends and family scanned in 3D with a handheld scanner, then reworked through retopology and manual remeshing in Blender and ZBrush to clean up the raw scan mesh

Remeshed Bodies

VIEW →
Putovanie - Consultable Book: A cover cut from a thin sheet of wood rather than conventional board, bound with visible cable ties instead of a sewn, hidden stitch

Putovanie - Consultable Book

VIEW →
CNSD Editorial Design: Co-art direction of "Dans le silence de la rencontre", with close attention to the editorial grid, typographic hierarchy, and page rhythm

CNSD Editorial Design

VIEW →
Reflections - Consultable Book: A clean layout, built to bring short texts and photographic documentation of the work together into one coherent volume rather than separate sheets

Reflections - Consultable Book

VIEW →
Compressed Rosette: A central mark - a rosette of pentagons and hexagons arranged around a directional arrow - run through successive rotations at 90°, 180°, and 270°

Compressed Rosette

VIEW →
Evora Ethno tourism: A web application designed to highlight the culture and heritage of Evora, in Portugal

Evora Ethno tourism

VIEW →
The Student Store: An exchange platform designed for reselling secondhand tools, safety equipment, and workshop offcuts - wood, brass, acrylic - between students at the same school

The Student Store

VIEW →
Video Archives & Projections: Recordings and short films accumulated over the course of projects, shot specifically to follow the body and material in motion through space
