Anticipated Wear

A brass hexagon cut, then engraved and punched with a cluster of small marks concentrated to one side of the surface rather than spread evenly, designed to visually anticipate use rather than leave it to accident.

A ceramic version repeats the same hexagonal shape, alongside a technical diagram documenting the exact layout of the pattern.
