Steel-Bound Bench

A structure built from welded rebar, chosen for its irregular cross-section and rough surface texture rather than for precision. It frames salvaged pine and plywood offcuts collected from the workshop floor, cut to fit the frame rather than the other way around.

Some welds were left raw rather than ground smooth, keeping the construction-site origin of the materials on display rather than hiding it.
