Bubble Cups

A personal blowing technique, developed after several attempts, to build a thick, rounded rim on small drinking cups without thickening the rest of the wall. Colour - blue, turquoise, pink-orange - is concentrated near the rim rather than spread across the whole piece.

It's this rim thickness, recognizable by touch as much as by eye, that becomes the signature of the series.
