A solid wood plank stands as the vertical backrest, crossed by a bent steel tube frame that shapes the arms and continues down into the front legs. The tube is bolted straight into the thickness of the wood rather than through a separate joining piece.

The fixing point is left visible, with no cladding or finish softening it.
