Terracotta Teapot

A hand-built body, ribbed and flared, glazed in a mottled grey that pools slightly along the vertical grooves. The long, angled spout and curved handle were shaped separately before being attached to the still-soft body.

The lid, fired separately, carries a distinct blue-green glaze that breaks into a dense field of small circles where it crystallized in the kiln.
