steel, sheep fur

Vestige I is a skeletal structure in tension, an object suspended between fragility and resistance. Its black steel limbs extend like a crawling memory, a fossilized moment of movement. On its back lies a synthetic pelt: soft, almost animal, evoking shelter, warmth, or the trace of something once alive.
This piece is not a chair, not quite a stool. It’s a proposition. An invitation to sit with discomfort. To question what holds, what protects, what haunts.
Built from welded steel rods and draped in faux-fur, Vestige I reflects a neo-tribal brutalism: raw, vulnerable, and strangely tender.
